The She Loves Tech Global Startup Competition is in its 9th year and aims to empower women entrepreneurs in the technology industry. Female founders and female-led startups in Turkmenistan have until August 17 to apply for this year's competition.
She Loves Tech - the world's largest startup competition aimed at encouraging and accelerating the development of women in technology. Since its launch in 2015, it has helped more than 600 startups raise capital totaling more than $1 billion.
This year's competition has over $500,000 in prizes, including a grand prize of $20,000 for the global winner. All finalists from Turkmenistan will receive exclusive mentorship, training programs and access to the She Loves Tech global community.
The competition aims to close the gender gap in funding by recognizing and supporting female-led startups in male-dominated industries such as technology.
The She Loves Tech program aims to empower women founders in Central Asia to turn their ideas into successful and scalable startups. Before reaching the global finals, candidates are evaluated at the local level.
