Consul of Turkmenistan meets with the Governor of Astrakhan Oblast

On April 15, Turkmenistan's Consul in Astrakhan Oblast G. Ilamanov met with Astrakhan Oblast Governor I. Babushkin in the building of the Astrakhan Oblast Administration. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Governor accepted a copy of the Consular Exequatur from the Consul and wished success in diplomatic activities aimed at expanding Turkmen-Russian ties. During the meeting, Igor Babushkin said that Turkmenistan is one of the key foreign partners of the region.

Effective trade and economic relations and fruitful cultural and humanitarian ties have been established between the region and Turkmenistan. At the end of the meeting, the high level of bilateral cooperation within the framework of strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation was stated.
