The French-Turkish ready-to-wear and fashion accessories brand LC Waikiki plans to enter Turkmenistan's market in 2020.
According to the newspaper "Türkiye", this was announced by the director of the company Vahap Kucuk at the opening ceremony of the new store "LC Waikiki" in the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev.
Vahap Kucuk said that during the current year it is planned to increase the number of stores to 1,125 and enter the markets of such countries as Peru, Zambia, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Angola, Senegal, Hungary, Mongolia and Turkmenistan.
Kuchuk noted that the value of exports in 2019 was 873 million U.S. dollars. The company director emphasized that 32% is expected to grow this year and total turnover is expected to increase to 4.5 billion U.S. dollars.
LC Waikiki operates in Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
