International scientific and practical conference on agro-industrial complex held in Ashgabat

The International Scientific and Practical Conference "Sustainable development of agro-industrial complex" was held at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov in Ashgabat on November 6. This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

The participants of the conference, held on a digital system, were representatives of specialized higher education institutions of Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The event included exchange of experience in the field of agriculture.

The speakers emphasized the introduction of "green" technologies as one of the key requirements for the effective development of the agricultural sector in the 21st century. The need to achieve environmental sustainability, which will ensure food security, was emphasized.
