Chinese Foreign Ministry congratulates Turkmenistan on successful elections

Mao Ning, official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, during an official press conference on April 4, congratulated Turkmenistan on the March 26 elections of deputies to the Majlis, velayat, etrap and city khalk maslahaty and Gengesh. Mao Ning expressed words of support in following the path of development in line with national realities.

The representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry expressed confidence that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the state will gain stability in all spheres and implement actual goals and programs within the framework of strategic development.

The Chinese side also expressed readiness to further develop interstate relations with Turkmenistan in all areas, to strengthen coordination in multilateral mechanisms and make progress in bilateral ties.
