A delegation of rectors of higher educational institutions of Ashgabat headed by Turkmenistan's Education Minister J. Gurbangeldiev visited a number of universities of the Turkmen capital. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
The purpose of the visits was to get acquainted with the activities on the creation of modern technology centers and educational institutions in the framework of solving urgent tasks for the development of science and innovation. Also, during the meetings the issues of developing a methodology to ensure effective interconnection of scientific, educational and industrial segments in universities were discussed.
The delegation met with representatives of the Oguz Khan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan and visited the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, where the guests were presented an exhibition of scientific projects "Education, Science and Industry".
