The National Leader of the Turkmen People is awarded the Badge of Honor

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in Tajikistan on September 14 on a working visit, was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Heads of State of Central Asia. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

At the airport of Dushanbe, Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty met with the Prime Minister of Tajikistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed inter-parliamentary cooperation. In the afternoon, a solemn ceremony of awarding Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Badge of Honor of the Heads of Central Asian States took place at the Kasri Millat Palace.

Chairman of Khalk Maslakhaty thanked for awarding the high prize. In his speech, he emphasized the high technological and industrial potential of the Central Asian countries, the unification of which is an urgent topic of our time.

At the end of his speech, the National Leader of the Turkmen people invited those present to take part in the celebrations marking the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi in 2024.
