National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave an interview to the Turkish TV channel TRT Haber. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".
In the interview, he noted the importance of cooperation between Turkic states due to the common history, language and culture. The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan also emphasized the need to strengthen ties in politics, economy, culture and interpersonal relations.
A special role in the promotion of Turkic culture is played by the activities of the Organization of Turkic States and TURKSOY. The Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty also noted the special importance of the forthcoming Meeting of the Council of Elders of the OTG.
The main aspects of domestic and foreign policy of Turkmenistan were considered. The National Leader of the Turkmen people named internal stability, social unity, stability of political and public institutions as the main factors of the country's development.
