The National Leader of the Turkmen people proposed to establish the title "Honorary Elder"

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov put forward a number of initiatives during a meeting within the framework of the 15th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States. This is reported by the boarding publication "asmannews".

One of the initiatives of the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty was the establishment of the title "Honorary Elder of the Organization of Turkic States" and the corresponding sign. The title will be awarded for the merits of the older generation in strengthening the bonds of friendship and brotherhood, unity and cohesion, in the education of hardworking youth.

To popularize the activities of the OTSG, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty proposed to publish special newspapers and magazines, as well as to develop a website of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States.
