The National Leader of the Turkmen People Performed the Rite of Hajj

The Turkmen delegation headed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov performed the rite of Hajj while in Mecca. This is reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Within the framework of the program of stay in Mecca, the Turkmen delegation and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan took part in kurbanlyk-sadaka and got acquainted with the peculiarities of architecture and natural beauties of Mecca.

During the trip, the Turkmen delegation visited the world's largest Al-Haram Mosque, where a festive namaz was performed. Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty also met with the Special Representative of the Emir of the State of Qatar Hadi Bin Ali Al-Marri. During the meeting, confidence was expressed in further strengthening of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar.

Meetings were also held with Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi Al Saud and President of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani.
