The International Conference "Arkadag - the Land of Akhalteke horses" was held in the Agricultural Complex of Arkadag city. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Turkmenistan as the homeland of Akhal-Teke horses has become an effective platform for exchange of experience between horse breeders from different countries. The conference was attended by representatives of foreign and Turkmen specialized structures, specialized committee of the Parliament, scientific institutions and universities, members of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and experts in this field.
An exhibition of fine arts and crafts on the theme of the conference was organized for the guests of the event. Speakers' speeches were dedicated to the grace and beauty of Akhalteke horses, which Turkmenistan gave to the world. It is symbolic that one of the landmarks of the new city was a monument to the famous Akhalteke horse "Akkhan".
