The renewed Research Institute of Earthquake Resistant Construction was inaugurated in the capital of Turkmenistan. The new complex of buildings of the institute is located on the area of 1.5 hectares on Bekreve Street. This is reported by the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The complex includes a four-story administrative building and one-story laboratory buildings. The latter are equipped with advanced equipment for testing building materials and structures for earthquake resistance and other important characteristics.
As noted in the scientific circles of Ashgabat, the opening of the renovated institute is an important step towards modernization of the construction industry of Turkmenistan. Thanks to the advanced equipment of laboratories, scientists will be able to more actively engage in the introduction of innovative technologies that increase the earthquake resistance and durability of buildings and structures.
The initiative to construct a new building for the Institute was taken by the Government of Turkmenistan. The works were carried out by the individual enterprise "Kämil ymarat". The opening ceremony of the new premises of the Research Institute of Earthquake Resistant Construction once again demonstrated the priority attention of the state to strengthening the material and technical base of scientific institutions of the country.
