After the opening ceremony of the III International Chemistry Olympiad, its participants were expected to have a rich cultural program, according to which they visited the museums of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The guests of the Makhtumkuli Museum were shown evidence of various aspects of the creative path and life of the great philosopher and poet of the East who lived in the 18th-19th centuries. The museum visitors were presented with the works of literary critics - contemporaries of the talented thinker, as well as scientific research of the staff of the Department of Turkmen Language and Literature related to the analysis of Makhtumkuli's works.
Among the most interesting exhibits are maps of the countries and territories where the great poet traveled, as well as editions of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's poems in different languages.
