Macroeconomic indicators of Turkmenistan for the 1st half of 2024 are presented

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan H. Geldimiradov presented a report on macroeconomic indicators for the first half of 2024 during the regular extended session of the Government. This is reported by the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

The GDP growth rate for the industrial complex amounted to 3.6%, for the construction sector - 9.3%, for the transport and communication sector - 7.3%, for trade - 7.8%, for agriculture - 5.8%, for services - 7.9%. The indicator of the volume of manufactured products increased by 11.5% in comparison with the same period last year. The growth rate of retail turnover amounted to 11.1%, and the growth rate of average wages for large and medium-sized enterprises reached 10.4%.
