Azerbaijani President arrives in Turkmenistan to attend trilateral summit

Today the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Turkmenbashi to participate in the trilateral summit of the heads of states of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye. This was reported by the press service of the head of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The President of Azerbaijan and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva were met at Turkmenbashi International Airport by Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and other officials.

Today a trilateral meeting of the heads of states of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye will be held at the Congress Center of the National tourist zone "Avaza".

Recep Tayyip ErdoganIlham Aliyev and Serdar Berdymukhamedov will discuss economic cooperation and the development of strategic partnership between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye, primarily in trade, energy and transport.
