The President of Turkmenistan gave instructions on preparations for Independence Day

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister M. Mammadova to implement a set of measures to prepare for the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the country's Independence Day at a government meeting on August 30. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad."

The Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers presented a report on summarizing the results of previously announced creative contests, days of culture and final rounds of the TV contest "Sound, My Fatherland". The meeting also heard information about participation of Turkmenistan's representatives in international events.

М. Mammedova reported on the results of work of theaters, circuses, libraries, cinemas, state publishing service, "Turkmenfilm" association and other cultural and educational organizations of the country.
