On June 6, the head of state visited the Akhalteke horse complex, where he met with the deputy prime minister of Turkmenistan.
Serdar Berdymukhamedov showed the President a stallion named Hankerven (born in 2018), which had been presented earlier by Turkmen horse breeders, and also handed over the ceremonial outfit of a rider.
According to the Turkmen leader, the name Hankerven carries a deep meaning, means sanctity, continuation of life, which is especially important because the life of Turkmens has always been associated with these noble animals. The head of state handed the horse to Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who heads the International Associations - Akhalteke horse breeding and "Türkmen alabaý itleri", with his best wishes.
The president and the deputy prime minister then went on a horseback ride on Hanbeg and Shapolat, where they discussed pressing issues of national development.
