This year, one of the major Muslim holidays will take place at night, from July 8 to 9, and will traditionally last for three days, from July 9 to 11. However, since July 10 falls on a Sunday, the residents of the country will rest and celebrate the holy holiday for four days instead of three. One of the days off is moved to Tuesday, July 12.
The corresponding decree was signed by Serdar Berdymukhamedov. It applies to all enterprises, institutions, and companies of various forms of ownership.
The celebrations will begin with morning prayers. In the mosques of the country, namaz will be performed. On this day it is strictly forbidden to show aggression, it is accepted to give alms to the needy, to visit relatives, to pray for the deceased.
