President of Turkmenistan pays visit to Balkan province

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the Balkan velayat in order to monitor the implementation of the state program on socio-economic development of the velayat and the pace of Kosovitsa. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The priority direction of agricultural reforms in Turkmenistan includes increasing the efficiency of workers, supplying farmers with quality seeds and fertilizers, and equipping them with agricultural machinery. The agro-industrial complex as the leading sector of the country's economy is an attractive area for investment.

On June 13, the President of Turkmenistan arrived at the plot of individual enterprise "Batly gadam" in Kizylarvat etrap. After conversations with farmers at their request, he blessed the beginning of reaping, and modern combines from the world's leading manufacturers started mowing.

An exhibition of vegetables, melons, fruits and seeds was also held here, where the products of Turkmen agricultural producers were presented.
