President of Turkmenistan meets with Prime Minister of Belarus

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has received Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation. It was noted that Turkmenistan and Belarus are currently at the stage of active recovery of their national economies in post-pandemic times.

The Prime Minister of Belarus emphasized that the cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Belarus had recently reached a new level. In particular, delegations of cultural and sports figures are regularly exchanged. It was also noted that the President of Belarus highly appreciates the level of trust and partnership between the countries.
