In honor of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, an official reception and exhibition of books by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was held in Dushanbe. The exhibition also featured poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The event was addressed by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan A. Gochmyradov. Gochmyradov. He noted the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation based on the principles of friendship, trust and good-neighborliness.
The official reception was attended by Co-Chairman of the Joint Tajik-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation S. Ziyozoda, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, members of the Parliament of Tajikistan, employees of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Tajikistan, representatives of business and public organizations of the two countries, figures of science and culture, journalists and representatives of the Turkmen diaspora.
