A series of workshops on the development of the Regional SDG Platform for Central Asian countries was held in Ashgabat from November 6 to 10. The events were organized by the United Nations Development Programme together with partners. This is reported in the press release of UNDP in Turkmenistan.
The Regional SDG Platform project is implemented jointly with the UNDP Istanbul Regional Center and the Institute of Economic Research under the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan and funded by the European Union.
The new platform will facilitate knowledge sharing and allow monitoring of SDGs achievement in the CA region. The workshops reviewed the results of the work done and activities for further development of the platform. Speakers were UNDP experts, representatives of UNDP institutes and regional centers.
