Within the framework of the joint UNDP-DPPA program, a seminar on such topics as mental health and psychosocial support for vulnerable youth and women was held in the Turkmen capital from 6 to 10 November. This is reported in the press release of UNDP in Turkmenistan.
Training seminars were conducted by UNDP international expert V. Klimchuk for representatives of specialized professions and included familiarization with preventive measures to provide psychosocial support.
The workshops covered topics such as depression and anxiety disorders in vulnerable youth and women, effective methods of conflict prevention, strengthening social cohesion, and raising public awareness of mental health.
The workshops focused on integrating psychosocial support into conflict prevention and social cohesion programs.
