The activity of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan is considered

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the results of the work carried out by the supervised complex, as well as practical steps taken to expand the routes of energy supplies to the world market for six months of 2024, TDH reports.

Reporting on technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, Deputy Prime Minister said that the plan of the State Concern "Türkmennebit" was fulfilled at the level of 102.9 percent.

During the period under review, the fulfillment of the plan for oil refining at the State Concern's refineries amounted to 102.9 percent, gasoline production - 106.3 percent, diesel fuel - 100.1 percent, polypropylene - 107.9 percent, and lubricating oils - 116.7 percent.

At the same time, it was reported on the indicators achieved in the field of liquefied gas production, natural and associated gas production, and supplies of "blue fuel" abroad.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to involve foreign companies in the search and development of energy resources in the Caspian Sea area. Turkmen geologists should continue effective exploration works to identify new promising layers of hydrocarbon deposits, the President of Turkmenistan said, instructing to intensify activities to search, discover and develop hydrocarbon resources in our country and widely introduce international experience in these processes.
