Today, June 28, Turkmenistan held a joint meeting of the Security Council and the Cabinet of Ministers of the country. This was reported on the air of the news program Vatan.
In addition to the main topic of the meeting, the opening of the new city of Arkadag on June 29, the completion of the "Culture Weeks" in the capital was also discussed.
Thus, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Mammadova reported on the events held in honor of the "Weeks of Culture" in the capital of Turkmenistan from June 22 to 27.
Mammadova also spoke about the events held in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of the Turksoy organization. Delegates from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, as well as the leadership of the secretariat of this large organization of Turkic-speaking countries visited Turkmenistan to participate in this event.
After listening to the report, President Berdimuhamedov stressed that strengthening of friendly relations with the TURKSOY member countries occupies an important place in the foreign policy of Turkmenistan.
