Meredov participated in yesterday's virtual meeting of the CIS Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA).
At the meeting they discussed the main issues of interaction, prospects for expanding interaction, and pressing regional and global issues. The parties reviewed documents to be signed on December 18 and the 2021 Consultation Plan. The Council adopted important draft Joint Statements of the CIS leaders on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations and the implementation of information security on a global scale.
Turkmenistan supported the strategy of expanding humanitarian ties, which was actively promoted last year, during our country's CIS presidency.
