On Friday, January 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov and the leader of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation. The conversation was devoted to the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. This was reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today".
At the beginning of the conversation, the two leaders exchanged warm congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
Serdar Berdymukhamedov thanked his Turkmen colleague for his significant contribution to the development of bilateral and multilateral partnership. He stressed Turkmenistan's readiness to further strengthen the multifaceted partnership for the benefit of the Turkmen and Tajik peoples.
At the end of their conversation the two presidents wished each other good health, success in government activities and family happiness, and to the brotherly peoples they wished prosperity, progress and well-being.
