Heads of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan meet

Today, September 14, Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon on bilateral and multilateral cooperation. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

During the conversation between the heads of state, they touched upon important issues in various areas of Turkmen-Tajik interaction in the Central Asian region.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov is currently in Dushanbe on a working visit. He arrived in the country to participate in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States and in the meeting of the founding states of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

The visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan confirms the State's commitment to constructive interstate dialog and joining efforts to achieve sustainable development.
