President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Hungary meet

The President of Turkmenistan, who is in Hungary on a working visit, met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. This is reported on the website of Türkmenistan habarlar portaly.

During the talks, the sides discussed the expansion and deepening of bilateral partnership. It was noted that the development of cooperation in the political and diplomatic, energy, industrial, transportation and communication sectors, as well as in the field of sports is particularly promising.

Turkmen-Hungarian relations have been developing since 1992, regularly strengthening. Special importance is attached to contacts at the highest and governmental levels.

During the latest working visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to Ashgabat on June 9, 2023, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to building up mutually beneficial cooperation.
