Business Council of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan was held

The first meeting of the business council of delegations of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan was held in the conference hall of the National Library of Tajikistan on May 8. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan and Tajikistan were represented at the business event by the heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries. The Turkmen delegation was headed by Mr. D. Rejepov, the Tajik delegation by Mr. D. Jumakhonzoda.

The Business Council of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan is aimed at developing partnership between representatives of business and public sector of the two countries, as well as at expanding trade and economic cooperation in priority areas.

During the first meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council, the need to bring cooperation to a new level was noted.
