President of Turkmenistan takes part in the Victory Parade in Moscow

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Moscow to participate in the Victory Parade. Today, May 9, Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the military parade on Red Square of the Russian capital as an official guest. The President of Turkmenistan will also take part in the festive events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was reported by the Russian news agency TASS.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan congratulated the peoples of Turkmenistan on the Day of Great Victory. In his greetings, the President emphasized the role of feat and heroism of old men, women and children who selflessly defended the rear and did their best to defeat fascism.

The President of Turkmenistan together with Russian President Vladimir Putin, leaders of CIS countries and veterans of World War II were on the stands during the military parade. Immediately after the Parade, the President of Russia together with delegations from Armenia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan marched to the Alexander Garden to participate in the ceremony of laying flowers.
