Ashgabat, July 22 - Arzuw.news. A group of students and teachers of the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas has completed a study tour to the Petronas University of Technology of Malaysia, which began on July 15, 2024. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The specially designed training program lasted two weeks for students and one week of professional development for teachers. The participants studied the development of new technologies, implementation of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in production.
Within the framework of the internship, Turkmen students and teachers got acquainted with the organization of the educational process, modern laboratories, training centers and research activities of the Malaysian university.
This trip was a continuation of the multi-year cooperation between the Turkmen University, Petronas Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd and the University of Technology Malaysia. The parties signed a new Memorandum of Understanding to expand the partnership in 2024.
Practical internship is aimed at enriching students' theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and also allows teachers to introduce the best international practices in the educational process. The development of scientific and educational system is important for strengthening the educational potential of Turkmenistan in the conditions of active development of oil and gas industry of the country.
