On January 20, 2024, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the new Equestrian Complex of Arkadag city, located in the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag mountains. This was reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

In the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with the Vice President of the Association "Turkmen Alabai" and the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding, who asked the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan on behalf of the people to hand over to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov an Alabai puppy named Shatlyk, which means "Joy".

Having taken a horseback ride around the riding arena on his horse named Hanbeg, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got into the car, taking the puppy Shatlyk with him.
