Tourists traveled through Turkmenistan along the Great Silk Road

Thirty-six tourists from nine countries traveled through Turkmenistan along the Great Silk Road, familiarizing themselves with the country's sights. This was reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

Rustam Valiev, manager and guide of Suvara Tourist Company, told about the program that was organized for tourists at each stopover point. The tourist train included restaurant cars and hotel cars with different classes of accommodation.

The travelers got acquainted with the sights of Ashgabat, including the Monument of Independence and Neutrality of Turkmenistan, museums, the park "10 Years of Independence", the Palace of Marriage "Bagt Koshgi" and the circus, where Akhalteke horses and dzhigits of the equestrian group "Galkynysh" performed.

Foreign guests also visited Dashoguz, Mary, monuments of Ancient Merv, burning natural gas crater Darvaza. It was noted that Golden Eagle Company plans to conduct 5 more such tours in the nearest period.
