Turkmen gas producers fulfill the plan ahead of schedule

The State Concern Turkmengaz has fulfilled its gas production plan a month ahead of schedule. This was reported by the Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly online publication.

It was planned to produce 9 billion 120 thousand cubic meters of gas by Lebapgazçykaryş management, and 9 billion 964 thousand cubic meters of gas was produced in the first 11 months of 2023. As of today, more than 10 billion cubic meters of gas has been produced.

The increase in gas production was achieved by increasing well productivity and maintaining a high level of efficiency. Producers at the Malay gas field made a huge contribution to achieving the planned volume - they received 5.9 billion cubic meters of gas in eleven months.
Most of the gas produced is sent to the PRC through the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline.
