Turkiyenistan promotes acceleration of TAPI project realization

During a panel discussion at the International Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2024" General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TAPI Pipeline Company Muhammetmyrat Amanov noted that Turkmenistan is working closely with the Afghan government to ensure a stable environment and accelerate the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project. M. Amanov emphasized that the security situation in Afghanistan is improving. In order to solve financial and logistical problems, the project interacts with international partners and investors.

The construction of the Afghan section of the TAPI-Serhetabad-Herat gas pipeline is now well underway. Work on this section includes engineering surveys, recruitment of staff, procurement of pipes, insulation materials and equipment.
