The Codex Alimentarius is a set of standards, rules and regulations for food production. This document adopts amendments to international standards that regulate the quality and safety of products for the international market.
Turkmenistan became a member of the Codex Alimentarius Commission in 2012, and in 2019 the country was selected to implement the Complex Trust Fund project. Manufacturing products in accordance with the Code contributes to the expansion of partnerships between national manufacturing companies.
