Turkmenistan's MUGNIR university received a gift of books on Japan

The Ambassador of Japan to Turkmenistan donated 53 books on the "Land of the Rising Sun" to the International Institute of Humanities and Development. Yamamoto Hiroyuki handed over the publications about Japan and a donation act with the list of donated books to the Rector of the International Institute for Humanities and Development Esen Aidogdiyev. The event was held in the framework of READ JAPAN Project.

The Nippon Foundation has been promoting this initiative since 2008, donating books about Japan to various countries in order to familiarize foreign partners with the country's traditions and customs. This is the first time Turkmenistan has received such a gift from a partner country. The books about Japan are written in English.
