Turkmenistan and Japan intend to strengthen bilateral cooperation

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida held a telephone conversation during which they discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations and cooperation in the international arena, reported "TurkmenPortal.

During the conversation, the sides noted the importance of expanding cooperation not only bilaterally, but also within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN. Special attention was paid to the intensification of trade and economic contacts between Turkmenistan and Japan.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan highly appreciates the level of relations with Japan and attaches special importance to their further development in all priority areas. In turn, Prime Minister Kishida expressed interest in building up traditional ties between the two countries.

The telephone conversation ended with mutual wishes for health, prosperity and success in state activities.
