Turkmenistan and Malaysia discussed issues of cooperation

Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Malaysia M. Mashalov held talks with Malaysian Defense Minister Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin. This is reported by the Internet edition "CentralAsia.news".

During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in areas of great potential. The Turkmen diplomat noted the long-term and strategic nature of bilateral cooperation.

During the conversation, the Ambassador emphasized that Turkmenistan's status of permanent neutrality contributes to ensuring peace and stability on the basis of a defensive military doctrine. At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed confidence in the continuation of further development of fruitful cooperation in the interests of the peoples of both countries.
