Turkmenistan and the OSCE develop inter-parliamentary cooperation

Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the OSCE Hemra Amannazarov met with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Pia Kauma on strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

The Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan briefed the OSCE representative on the reforms carried out in various spheres of the country aimed at the progressive development of the state. The sides noted the fruitfulness of joint activities aimed at maintaining stability and developing multilateral cooperation in the region.

The current state of bilateral co-operation and the OSCE PA event in Ashgabat initiated by the Turkmen side aimed at strengthening security and constructive dialogue were reviewed.
