On Sunday, December 1, 2024, the delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the 5th Ministerial Meeting "CA-China". The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. The ministerial meeting was held in the Chinese city of Chengdu, Sichuan Province. In the narrow format of the meeting, the heads of foreign ministries of Central Asian countries and China discussed important areas of current cooperation and outlined promising vectors for the development of interaction. The agenda included topical international issues of regional and global partnership.
At the meeting in an expanded format, attention was paid to the need to join efforts to ensure peace and stability, as well as to strengthen political, diplomatic, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The meeting resulted in the signing of the Final Document.
