The 15th joint meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japan-Turkmen Committees on Economic Cooperation was held in Ashgabat on December 16 this year. The Japanese delegation, which arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the meeting, was headed by Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Committee Hiroyuki Tsubai. The Japanese delegation included heads of major production enterprises and representatives of the Japan Trade Association. During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of areas of cooperation, including transportation, energy, ecology, industry and construction.
During the meeting, the parties signed a package of documents on cooperation between government agencies of Turkmenistan and major Japanese companies. As a result of the meeting of the committees, the final protocol was signed.
