Turkmenistan and Russia agree to simplify customs procedures

Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation signed an agreement in Ashgabat aimed at simplifying customs procedures for the movement of goods and vehicles between the two countries. This is reported by TerraNews.

The document was signed following a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, during which the parties also signed a number of additional agreements in the economic and sectoral spheres.

Among them are the action plan for 2025-2026 between the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan and the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of Russia (Rosreestr), as well as a cooperation agreement between the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan and the St. Petersburg Exchange.

The thirteenth meeting was held in Ashgabat. The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev, the Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
