A delegation of young Turkmen activists is participating in the international school of volunteers of the countries of the Organization of Turkic States. This is reported by the Internet edition "CentralAsia.news".
The event takes place in Kyrgyzstan from August 12 to 16. Its goal is to strengthen cooperation in the field of volunteering, promote and support this movement and enhance the role of volunteers in solving social, economic and environmental problems at the international level. Participants of the volunteer school can exchange experience and learn best practices in the field, as well as strengthen cooperation in the volunteer sphere.
The leadership of Turkmenistan and public and international organizations pay special attention to the development of volunteerism in the country. The Volunteerism Act is the legal basis for this movement in Turkmenistan.
