Turkmenistan participated in the forum in honor of World Tourism Day

The Turkmen delegation took part in an international forum in honor of World Tourism Day held in Tbilisi. This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

Turkmenistan was represented at the forum by Deputy Head of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan Gulshat Bakyeva, teacher of the Tourism Department of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture Atageldy Durdyev and Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov.

The event brought together representatives of relevant agencies, ministries and organizations from more than 40 countries. The forum under the slogan "Tourism and Peace" included a plenary session and three thematic sessions. Tourism opportunities of Georgia were presented. The Turkmen delegation held a number of bilateral meetings aimed at expanding cooperation in tourism.
