On May 3 this year, representatives of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Afghanistan held a humanitarian action in the building of a maternity hospital, which was built by Turkmenistan as part of humanitarian aid in 2016. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The action was held on the occasion of the completion of capital repair of the maternity hospital building by Turkmen specialists. During the action, medicines and medical supplies were delivered to the institution as humanitarian aid.
The participants of the event were representatives of military and law enforcement bodies of Herat and Turgundi settlement, local authorities, representatives of the international organization "World Vision".
The Afghan side expressed gratitude to friendly Turkmenistan for the humanitarian aid provided, and also honored the memory of the grandmother of the President of Turkmenistan and the mother of the National Leader of the Turkmen people with a luncheon in honor of Ogulabad eje.
