President of Turkmenistan meets with the head of FIFA

On May 4, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with FIFA head Gianni Infantino at the Olympic Stadium. This was reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of soccer in Turkmenistan as one of the priority directions of the President's domestic policy. Gianni Infantino thanked Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the warm welcome and the opportunity to see with his own eyes the sports facilities built in Ashgabat, including the Olympic Campus, where the meeting with the FIFA head took place.

During the meeting, Gianni Infantino expressed gratitude to the Turkmen leader for the invitation and presented him with memorable gifts - a personalized T-shirt, official soccer ball and FIFA pennant.
The FIFA chief praised the programs implemented in Turkmenistan aimed at popularizing physical culture and sports.
