Turkmenistan expands its air cargo fleet

According to the Decree of the President, the agency "Türkmenhowaýollary" has signed a contract with the French company Airbus S.A.S. for the supply of Airbuses in 2021. On April 27, an Airbus A330-200P2F cargo plane landed at Ashgabat International Airport, as reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The purchase of modern aerotechnics is part of the National Program for the Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for 2012-2030. Within the framework of this program, Turkmenistan's aviation fleet is being renewed, equipped with modern aircrafts, employees' professional development, as well as flight safety improvement.

In connection with the program for the development of domestic air transportation, cooperation with international organizations, in particular, with ICAO - the International Civil Aviation Organization, as well as with EASA - the European Aviation Safety Agency, is of particular importance.
