Turkmenistan develops cooperation with UNODC

A Turkmen delegation headed by the Deputy Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan took part in talks with the leadership of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime on November 8. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Austria.

Earlier, Turkmenistan joined the Global Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Operational Network (GlobE). In this regard, further cooperation within the network was considered.

In addition, joint actions within the framework of the UN Conventions against Transnational Organized Crime and against Corruption were discussed during the talks. The parties also touched upon promising and relevant areas of further effective partnership between Turkmenistan and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
